GE 14 - an election to remember

Most people around my age, weols yang umur 20an ni; this will be our first time voting. And tbh? It is not easy. Social media culture is not helping because you have an influx of views and ideas and opinions and to be honest I was sure of who I was going to go for but after all this? Suddenly I'm not so sure. Yep. I said it. 

I like to believe the core of what makes one human is the ability and strength to change. To shift. And this is what we're witnessing this general election. A lot of it. Not gonna lie some 'changes' raised my eyebrows from sheer surprise and amazement.

What I think is important for everyone, including myself, to understand is that -

1. We need to look at the situation of the country as a whole, understand what makes the country, understand what we need right now. Update yourself pada waqi', belajar untuk lapangkan dada dan buka minda aka be realistic.  

2. Romanticizing ideas from the party you stan; although the idea sounds absurd is definitely Not what we need right now. 

3. Sifat taksub pada satu2 parti dan satu2 figura has Got to Go. If you find yourself closing off from listening to other viewpoints and only seek to find amplifications and validations of what you already believe in, stop right now. It is not too late to Listen. 

4. Constantly check yourself and your intentions.

5. Jangan pikir yang dekat semata, pikir untuk 10, 20, 100 tahun akan datang. Bak kata mak aku, "ni bukan untuk kamu tapi untuk anak2 kamu nanti" 

Suka untuk aku tutup dengan satu ayat yang tak asing2 lagi;
